What a delightful surprise to meet Dr Carr at Mercy Medical Urgent Care! A doctor with his breadth of experience and able to prescribe exactly the right treatment- I experienced almost immediate relief. Dr Carr’s friendliness and sense of humor were also good medicine!

Going to a doctor or Urgent Care isn't always a positive experience, but going to Mercy Medical is when you are attended to by Jeral and his staff. He has a calming and encouraging demeanor and gives you the information you need.

We have been here three times. My husband and I found Dr. Jerald Carr to be thorough in his exam/evaluation. As a retired nurse have the utmost respect for him. He is very pleasant, personable and approachable. He explains what he diagnosed and why he recommends a particular treatment. Mutual respect is paramount and he had that for his patients. He also takes time for questions and concerns. You never feel that you are bothering him. We always feel confident and comfortable in his assessment when we leave. Most of the physicians we see nowadays seem to be primarily interested in prescribing medications for your symptoms and not getting to the cause, nor listening to the patient. He is definitely an oasis of quality in a desert of mediocrity.

I have always had wonderful service here at Mercy Urgent Care. Whether it's been for my daughter or myself. I went it one night after work an hour before they closed and just a day or 2 before Christmas with Pink eye. Dr. Jeral Carr saw me right away diagnosed my pink eye and prescribed me what I needed. Fast and efficient. I've recently been in for my daughter due to a virus and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my 4 year old feel safe and comfortable. Even when it came to the hard part in testing her for what she may have had. Once again the staff was efficient and thorough. I highly recommend seeing them for any of your urgent care needs!

Finally, am urgent care with a real doctor!

I went to get tested for the flu and and such because I was sick. Dr Carr was extremely pleasant and efficient. He took the time to explain my results to me and to tell me what he thought would be best for me to do and I followed his instructions and after 5 days I am almost no longer sick. I'll be going here for urgent care from now on.

He really cares, He's knowledgeable personable and thank heavens available when our regular doctors are not. He remembers his patience which is So unexpected and such a plus.

I met Jeral abt 20 yrs ago when he was PA for Richard Wright and found him to be everything you need in a medical professional and he has only gotten better over the years .I know this for a fact as I saw him today in that capacity.

Mr. Carr and all the staff acted in a very professional manner. My problem was taken care of.

I have a broken tooth and my dentist just told me when I called last week that they no longer accept my dental insurance after being there patient for 10yrs. My Dr. Couldn't see me right away so I called Mercey Urgent care and they told me to come in right away. So I went and they were very nice and understanding and Dr. Prescribed me an antibiotic after evaluating my problem. The medicine has helped greatly and I'm in no more pain. The front desk and nurse were very pleasant. It was laid back and easy for someone not feeling well to be integrated into the treatment needed. I was very pleased with my PA, Mr Carr...I could actually hear him engaging and communicating with a young patient next door to me in the cubicle where you eventually meet him. He was intelligent, engaging, listened to me, as I know my body better than anyone. Not overbearing and most importantly, knowledgeable and genuinely concerned. He did I think, all he could do. It was a great visit, and I can't say enough about the comfortability of the visit. I'll be going back as needed. It was also OPEN at lunch time. I can't understand other clinics closing fir an hour. That's highly inconvenient.

Overall great experience. However, the nurse injected my tetanus shot into the bone. She pulled it out and used the same needle and then injected it into my arm again.
